A droven helm is a type of helm that appears in dNetHack and notdNetHack. It is always made of shadowsteel, and appears as a spider-shaped helm when unidentified.
Generation
The droven helm is not randomly generated.
Description
While worn, a droven helm grants 2 base AC and 2 DR. As shadowsteel armor, a droven helm has a chance of evaporating in lit squares, with the chance reduced if the wearer has MC3 or invisibility - erodeproofed droven helms will repair partial evaporation while the wearer remains in an unlit square.
